Start with the original destination.
Paste the complete website, product, landing page, document or campaign URL you want people to reach.
Turn long URLs into compact links you can actually use. Create a short link in real time, choose a custom alias when available, enable statistics, copy the result instantly and keep your recent links close.
No generated demo values are used here. Submit a URL and the result area is populated only after the live shortening service returns a successful response.
A URL shortener stores or registers the relationship between a compact link and the original destination. When someone opens the short URL, the shortening service redirects the browser to the destination.
Paste the complete website, product, landing page, document or campaign URL you want people to reach.
The page sends your URL to the live shortening service. A short URL appears only when the service returns a successful response.
Copy the link into ads, social posts, email, messaging, QR campaigns, documents, print material or other customer touchpoints.
Compact URLs are easier to place inside campaigns, messages, presentations and printed material.
When available, use a readable alias instead of a random path so a link is easier to identify and remember.
Statistics-enabled links can reveal real visit activity through the shortening provider's statistics interface.
Create the link from a single page and immediately copy or open the returned short URL.
Use short URLs anywhere the original destination is too long, too difficult to remember or needs a cleaner presentation.
The public live API on this page is useful for immediate shortening. BizCity's production version can later use its own backend, custom domains and branded short links so the final URL can use your BizCity infrastructure instead of a third-party domain.
Statistics-enabled short links can be used to review actual visit activity. For a full BizCity analytics product, your own backend should capture link events and expose first-party dashboards for clicks, referrers, devices, locations and campaign parameters.
A good short URL should move easily between digital and physical touchpoints. Use BizCity links across campaigns, conversations, content and customer journeys without changing the destination behind the experience.
Use compact links in posts, bios, captions, stories and direct messages across social platforms.
Keep ad destinations cleaner and easier to organize across multiple campaigns and channels.
Share shorter destinations in newsletters, sales outreach, WhatsApp, SMS and customer communication.
Pair short URLs with QR codes on packaging, menus, brochures, posters, events and printed campaigns.
Everything you need to know before creating, customizing and using your short links with BizCity.
A URL shortener converts a long web address into a compact link. Opening the short link redirects the visitor to the original destination.
Yes. In its current configuration the page sends your submitted URL to a live public shortening API and only displays the short URL returned by that service. It does not generate a fake result locally.
A real bizcity.co short URL requires a BizCity backend, database and redirect route. HTML and browser JavaScript alone cannot create persistent redirects on your domain. Once that backend exists, the API connector in this page can be switched to BizCity.
Yes. The current live provider supports custom aliases between 5 and 30 characters using letters, numbers and underscores, provided the requested alias is available.
Yes. Turn on statistics before creating the link. When the provider successfully creates a statistics-enabled URL, the result includes a Live Statistics button that opens the real statistics page.
The live API returns an error. The page displays that error instead of silently replacing your requested alias with invented data.
Yes, provided the destination is a valid HTTP or HTTPS URL and the shortening provider accepts it under its service rules.
That should be implemented through BizCity's own production backend. It will allow short URLs on BizCity or connected branded domains, plus first-party account management and analytics.
