BIZCITY / REFUND POLICY

Fair Reviews. Clear Payment Rules.

This Refund Policy explains when BizCity may approve a refund, when a payment may not be refundable, and how to request a review for a paid plan or PayPal payment.

Effective: 18 August 2026 Applies to BizCity Paid Services
OUR APPROACH

A refund should depend on what actually happened.

BizCity provides digital tools and paid account access for short links, QR codes, bio pages, branded domains, analytics and related features. Because access can be activated immediately after payment, refund eligibility may depend on the reason for the request and whether the paid service has already been used.

BizCity should review genuine payment errors, duplicate payments, failed plan activation and verified technical problems fairly and consistently.

REFUND ELIGIBILITY

Situations that may qualify for review.

01 / DUPLICATE PAYMENT

Charged more than once

If the same BizCity plan is accidentally paid more than once for the same account and billing period, the duplicate payment may be eligible for refund after verification.

02 / WRONG AMOUNT

Incorrect payment amount

If a confirmed technical or checkout issue caused a customer to pay an amount different from the selected BizCity plan, the payment may be reviewed for correction or refund.

03 / FAILED ACTIVATION

Paid but plan was not activated

If BizCity confirms payment but cannot activate the purchased plan or provide the paid service, the customer may be eligible for a refund or another agreed resolution.

04 / VERIFIED TECHNICAL FAILURE

Paid service materially unavailable

If a paid feature is materially unavailable because of a verified BizCity technical issue and the issue cannot be reasonably resolved, BizCity may review the payment for refund or service credit.

01 / SCOPE

Where this policy applies.

This policy applies to payments made for BizCity paid plans, upgrades or other paid digital services offered through BizCity.

It does not automatically apply to third-party products or services that may be linked from BizCity but are purchased directly from another provider.

02 / ELIGIBLE REQUESTS

Refunds may be considered in specific situations.

Examples may include:

  • A duplicate payment for the same plan and billing period.
  • An incorrect amount caused by a verified payment or checkout issue.
  • Payment confirmed but the purchased BizCity plan could not be activated.
  • A material paid-service failure that BizCity is unable to reasonably resolve.
  • An unauthorized payment where the claim is verified through the appropriate payment-provider process.
  • Any refund required by applicable law.

A request does not guarantee approval. BizCity may review account activity, payment records and service usage before deciding.

03 / NON-REFUNDABLE CASES

Some situations may not qualify for a refund.

Subject to applicable law, refunds may generally not be available where:

  • The paid plan was correctly activated and materially used.
  • The user simply did not use the purchased quota or features.
  • The customer selected the wrong plan or billing period despite the correct price being clearly displayed before payment.
  • Access was restricted because of a violation of the Terms or Acceptable Use Policy.
  • A feature limitation was clearly described before purchase.
  • The issue is caused by the user's own device, browser, DNS configuration, third-party provider or unsupported setup rather than BizCity.
  • The request is fraudulent, abusive or unsupported by the payment record.
04 / CHANGE OF MIND

Change-of-mind requests.

Because BizCity provides digital access that may become available immediately after payment, a change of mind does not automatically create a refund entitlement once paid access has been activated or materially used.

If local law provides a mandatory cooling-off, cancellation or refund right, that legal right will apply.

Production note: if BizCity decides to offer a fixed voluntary refund window such as 7 or 14 days, that period should be added here and matched across Pricing, Terms and checkout messaging.
05 / CANCELLATION

Cancellation and unused service periods.

Cancelling future access or choosing not to continue a plan does not automatically create a refund for a payment that has already been completed.

If BizCity later introduces automatic recurring subscriptions, cancellation rules should clearly explain when renewal stops and whether any unused prepaid period is refundable.

06 / PAYPAL

PayPal payments.

BizCity's current pricing flow may send customers to a PayPal.Me payment page with the selected BizCity plan amount prefilled.

PayPal processes the payment. BizCity may request the PayPal transaction reference or other payment confirmation needed to locate and verify the payment.

Never send BizCity your PayPal password, full card number, CVV or other sensitive payment credentials.

07 / REQUEST

How to request a refund review.

Submit the request through BizCity Support and select the Billing, Payment or PayPal category.

Please include:

  • Your name and BizCity account email.
  • The plan purchased.
  • The payment date and amount.
  • The PayPal transaction reference or another relevant payment reference.
  • The reason for the refund request.
  • Any relevant screenshot or technical information if the request concerns a service failure.
08 / REVIEW PROCESS

How BizCity should review a request.

BizCity may verify the payment, check whether the plan was activated, review account usage, investigate any claimed technical issue and confirm whether the request falls within this policy or applicable law.

BizCity may ask for additional information where the payment or account cannot be identified from the original request.

09 / PROCESSING

Approved refunds.

If a refund is approved, BizCity should return the funds through the original payment method where reasonably possible.

The time taken for an approved refund to appear may depend on PayPal, the customer's bank, card issuer or other payment-processing factors outside BizCity's control.

BizCity should communicate the approval and any available refund reference once the refund has been initiated.

10 / PAYMENT DISPUTES

Chargebacks and PayPal disputes.

Customers are encouraged to contact BizCity Support first if a payment issue can be resolved directly.

If a PayPal dispute or chargeback is opened, BizCity may provide relevant payment, account and service records to the payment provider as part of the dispute process.

Fraudulent or abusive payment disputes may result in account restrictions where permitted by law and the BizCity Terms.

11 / CONSUMER RIGHTS

Mandatory legal rights still apply.

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.

Where mandatory law gives a customer stronger cancellation or refund rights than this policy, the mandatory legal requirements will apply.

12 / CHANGES

Changes to this Refund Policy.

BizCity may update this policy when payment methods, subscription models, refund practices or legal requirements change.

The effective date should be updated when material revisions are published.

REFUND PROCESS

From request to decision.

A clear payment reference and a specific reason help BizCity review the request without unnecessary back-and-forth.

01 / SUBMIT

Send the request

Use Support and select Billing, Payment or PayPal as the issue category.

02 / VERIFY

Payment verification

BizCity checks the payment reference, plan, amount and associated account.

03 / REVIEW

Review eligibility

The reason, account usage and any technical issue are reviewed against this policy.

04 / RESOLVE

Refund or resolution

If approved, the refund is initiated through the appropriate payment method or another agreed resolution is provided.

PAYPAL PAYMENT CHECK

Keep the payment reference.

Confirm the selected amount

Before paying, check the Basic, Premium or Pro plan and whether Monthly or Yearly pricing is selected.

Keep the transaction reference

The PayPal transaction reference can help BizCity locate and verify a payment if support or refund review is required.

Do not share payment credentials

BizCity Support may need a transaction reference, but it should never request your PayPal password, full card details or CVV.

Payment verification comes first

A refund should only be processed after the relevant payment and account details have been verified.

REQUEST A REFUND REVIEW

Have a genuine payment issue?

Use BizCity Support and provide the plan, payment amount, date, account email and relevant PayPal transaction reference.

RELATED POLICIES

Review Pricing and Terms before purchasing so the selected plan, limits and payment expectations are clear.

REFUND FAQ

Refund questions.

Quick answers about duplicate payments, wrong amounts, failed activation, cancellations and PayPal refunds.

Can I get a refund if I paid twice?
A verified duplicate payment for the same account, plan and billing period may be eligible for refund after BizCity confirms both transactions.
What if I paid but my BizCity plan was not activated?
Contact Support with the payment reference. If payment is confirmed and BizCity cannot activate or provide the purchased service, the issue may qualify for a refund or another resolution.
Can I get a refund because I changed my mind?
A change of mind does not automatically create a refund once digital access has been activated or materially used, except where applicable law gives you a mandatory cancellation or refund right.
What if I selected the wrong plan?
Contact Support as soon as possible. BizCity may review the payment, but selecting the wrong plan despite correct pricing being displayed does not automatically guarantee a refund.
How do I request a PayPal refund?
Use BizCity Support, choose Billing, Payment or PayPal, and provide the transaction reference, account email, plan, payment amount and reason for the request.
How long does an approved refund take?
Once BizCity initiates an approved refund, the time for funds to appear depends on PayPal, the bank, card issuer or other payment-processing factors.
Does cancelling a plan automatically refund the payment?
No. Cancellation of future use does not automatically create a refund for a payment already completed unless BizCity confirms otherwise or applicable law requires it.
What information should I never send with a refund request?
Never send your PayPal password, full card number, CVV, private keys or other sensitive credentials. A transaction reference is normally sufficient for payment lookup.
