WHY ANALYTICS MATTERS

A short URL is more useful when you know what happened after the click.

Link analytics turns a redirect into measurable campaign activity. Instead of only knowing that a short link exists, you can understand click volume and — when your tracking infrastructure provides the data — unique visitors, countries, devices, browsers and referrers.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

URL Analytics FAQ.

Questions about tracked short links, analytics and the four-link free limit.

How many tracked links can I create for free?

The public tool allows four successful tracked short links in the current browser before requiring an upgrade.

What happens on the fifth shortening attempt?

The shortening tool is blocked, an upgrade modal appears and the visitor is automatically directed to the BizCity Pricing page.

Does a failed attempt use my free quota?

No. The counter increases only when the shortening provider returns a successful short URL.

Are the free analytics real?

Yes. Free links are created with provider-side statistics logging enabled and the page links to the provider's real statistics page. BizCity does not fabricate click counts.

What is BizCity advanced analytics?

BizCity advanced analytics is designed to read real redirect events from the BizCity backend for clicks, unique visitors, countries, devices, browsers and referrers.

Can I use a custom alias?

Yes. The free tool accepts an optional valid alias where the shortening provider supports and approves it.

Can browser storage be cleared to reset the free limit?

The front-end counter can be reset by browser actions, so the production application should also enforce the free allowance in the BizCity backend using account or visitor rules.

What do paid plans add?

Paid plans provide higher short-link limits plus custom domains, dynamic QR codes, bio pages, longer analytics history, exports, API access and other features depending on the plan.
